This wedding invitation with vellum overlay was inspired by the botanical illustrations of Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759-1840). I’m thinking of adding a hand deckled edge to the printed piece to really give it the feel of something Mr. Redouté would have would with in the late 18th century. It’s hard to believe that my letterpress printing can be combined with today’s full colour digital allowing for this blend of styles spanning 259 years!!
Pocket cards and folders come in all the shimmer colours that we carry and a few matte finishes as well. Pocket cards are great when you want to decorate the front and be able to open the card without removing the decoration – as above, the lace and monogram stay in place so the card always looks great. Pocket Folders Pocket folders can be sealed with a tag like this one or wrapped in a removable ribbon or belly band to open.
